Famitsu magazine is reporting that Nintendo has sold over six million 3DS units in Japan since the device launched on the 26th of February, 2011. We also have the news that the 3DS is close to selling one million units in the UK alone and that it could reach that milestone within the next month. This would mean that the 3DS will have taken three months longer than the DS to reach the same amount of sales in the UK.
 
According to the game’s official Twitter account, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy features about sixty to seventy hours of content before its end credits. To fully complete the game, however, you will need to play a lot longer.
 
Ubisoft has announced that the demo for Rayman Origins is available on the eShop in North America and Europe. The full game will be available in North America on the 5th of June and in Europe on the 7th of June.
 
Capcom has revealed that none of their playable titles at E3 2012 will be for Nintendo platforms. But since we are expecting a Resident Evil game to be announced, this doesn’t mean we won’t see announcements. There just won’t be anything people will be able to get their hands on.
 
SuperVillain Studios has announced that a demo for Order Up!will launch next week in North America via the eShop.
 
Nintendo has released the first patch for a 3DS title. It fixes exploits found in Mario Kart 7, including the one for Maka Wuhu that allows racers to skip half of the track. This is a required update for anyone wishing to play the game online. You can download it via the eShop.
 
Nintendo has sent out a firmware update for the 3DS that gives you the ability to update your 3DS without having to input your parental control pin. Not all that exciting, but it’s always a good idea to keep your 3DS firmware up to date, so go get it.
 
Officially, it’s over a week before the Midnight Purple 3DS should be available. But, supposedly, the new colour has become available at some Walmart locations. If you want to pick it up, you might want to check out your local retailer.

Nintendo of Europe has confirmed that a demo for Rayman Origins will arrived on the eShop this Thursday. It is only confirmed for Europe at the moment, but I suspect other regions will receive it soon enough.
