SEGA has revealed today that Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is headed to the 3DS in late 2012. The
game’s cast will consist of classic Sonic characters and characters from
Golden Axe, Skies of Arcadia, Jet Set
Radio
and
Crazy Taxi. You’ll also be able to traverse various different terrains using your transforming vehicle
that can go from boat to plane, depending on the situation. You can check after the break for a trailer.

Nintendo has confirmed that the Midnight Purple 3DS will launch in North America on the 20th of May. It will be
released alongside Mario Tennis Open but there’s no word on whether the colour will arrive in other regions.

Nintendo has revealed that most of their 3DS titles will see both a retail and a digital release. You’ll be able to
buy digital titles via the 3DS, at retail locations, and
through the internet using retailer websites. The prices for digital titles sold
in retail locations will be set by the retailer as opposed to having a set price
from Nintendo.

Jens Andersson, the creator of Colors! 3D (which is available on the 3DS via the eShop), has said that
the reception for the application has been “phenomenal” and that “sales seem to be doing well”. As a a result, he
hopes that they “can do an update that adds a few things that didn’t make it into the original version.”

As for what that update might include:

(We would love to add more ways to browse the gallery, like having followers as well as adding a
robust challenge system that people can participate in directly from the device.)

But, Andersson is careful not to make too many promises and, “in the end, the community will have to help us
decide what is most important, because it’s them that makes it possible for us to be here in the first place.”

Want to see the entire demo of Dynasty Warriors Vs. from the eShop in Japan? Well lucky you, because there’s
a video after the break. Enjoy

It seems, at least according to the ESRB website, that there are three Ninja Gaiden titles coming to the 3DS via
the Virtual Console. The games are Ninja Gaiden, Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos, and Ninja Gaiden
III: The Ancient Ship of Doom
. We’ll have to wait and see, of course, but there’s been plenty of news shared by
the ESRB in the past, so I wouldn’t see why this is any different

There’s over twenty-three minutes of footage from Kingdom Hearts 3D that you can find after the break.

Mega
Man Legends 3: Prototype Version
remains cancelled and I don’t expect that to change. If you’re a fan of
torturing yourself though, there’s previously unreleased footage of the game that is after the break. Skip to the
1:55 mark of the video to make yourself sad that the project no longer exists.

There’s a new batch of screenshots from Shifting World that you can find after the break.

The full scans from Famitsu magazine have been shared for Project X Zone, the simulation RPG that’s being worked on by
SEGA, Namco Bandai, and Capcom. They’re after the
break
